Widget
The widget puts a Wiselook assessment directly on your own website. Your visitors have the same conversation with Claire that your members have in the portal, without leaving your page.
What it gives you
- Embedded, not redirected. Claire runs inside your page. Visitors are not sent to a Wiselook site, and no window pops up.
- No account for visitors. Your visitors never sign up with Wiselook and never get an email from us. Your website tells Wiselook who each visitor is with its own reference, so a returning visitor picks up where they left off.
- Isolated and safe on your page. The widget runs in its own sealed-off area of the page, so your site's look and the widget's look can't interfere with each other.
- Text or voice. A widget runs either a written chat or a spoken assessment, in the language you set for it. To offer both, create one widget of each.
Who does what
- An admin creates the widget in the portal, under the Settings gear → Widgets: a name, text or voice, the default language, and the addresses of the web pages allowed to show it. A widget with no allowed address shows nowhere.
- A developer on your side adds it to your website. This takes a small piece of work on your web server, described step by step in the guide below.
- Results come back to you. Assessments taken through the widget appear in your Evaluations list (admins only). Widget visitors are not members, so tags don't apply to them.
